Running to the Falling Sun

This was another moment I almost let slip through my fingers. Thank goodness I had my camera with me. Adriana and I, after an unsuccessful and exhausting trip to Ikea, were walking towards my car in the garage when we saw the brilliant colors of the retiring sun. We ran all the way to the water's edge to catch it cut in half by the horizon. I snapped a few shots and can't decide on my favorite. Even though the star was cut out of this one, I enjoy the life captured and the starkness of the three twiggy naked trees.
